Notes: | Reportedly, all playfields in this production run were made of resin (plastic), not wood. The 2-player version of this game is Bally's 1982 'Speakeasy'. According to the book Pinball Memories, this 4-player version was made at the request of a European distributor who did not want 2-player games, and that some of them went to Australia. A "speakeasy' was one of the many saloons in the United States that illegally served alcoholic beverages during Prohibition, which was the period from 1920 to 1933 in which national law prohibited the manufacture, sale, or transportation of intoxicating beverages. Prior to Prohibition, the saloons admitted only men as patrons, but as speakeasies they allowed both men and women. We removed our unsubstantiated Manufacture Date of August 1982. Instead, available Bally documentation shows only the release (to production) date of 9-27-82. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
