Notes: | The backglass carries Gottlieb's famous phrase: Amusement Pinballs, as American as Baseball and Hot Dogs! The backglass is silkscreened with the words "Game Over" but we were notified that a Hi-Diver with serial number D04067 has no lamp socket installed in the hole in the backbox insert to light those words nor are there factory wires leading to this hole. We don't yet know if this wiring omission was unique to this one game but, reportedly, this lamp does not appear on the schematic. Unlike a similar situation found in all 1956 Auto Race games, Hi-Diver games do have a Game Over relay providing the match feature and shutting off power to the flippers. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
